Database

The current version of Treasure accounting employs a Microsoft Access 2000 database (Microsoft Jet 4.0) as its back end. The front end is written in Microsoft Visual Basic Ver. 6.00. For larger organization, a Microsoft SQL Server version of Treasure Accounting is available.

Purchasers of TREASURE Accounting have the option of having Treasure Skills programmers customize the software to fit their special needs. Treasure Accounting is written in Microsoft Visual Basic™, one of the most widely used programming languages in the world. It uses a minimum of additional programming tools, namely the Spread™ control from FarPoint Technologies, Inc. and Crystal Reports Writer™ from Data Dynamics, Inc. Both of these widely used tools are from long-time industry leaders.
